The latest Covid-19 Guidelines

Our therapist and client safety is a priority.

As per Government and Industry Association rules, all treatments will be available from the 12th of April 2021.

You can relax knowing that your Bassage therapists are trained in Covid-19 safety. In addition, we require all Bassage therapists to hold a Barbicide COVID-19 certificate for hygiene issued for the professional beauty industry.

All Bassage team (and their households) must be symptom-free to work. We also encourage our freelance therapists to participate in community testing every week. Our therapists are Covid-19 trained.

We have updated our Health & Safety guidelines with new hygiene and safety protocols as our therapist health and safety, likes yours, has always been a top priority. So we will look after you in the safest way possible.

What changes have been introduced?

We have introduced enhanced hygiene and safety protocols for all at-home, hotel massage treatments

At Bassage, we follow Government Guidelines and Professional Beauty industry organisations to create the best COVID-19 safety hygiene protocols.

It is now required for all Bassage therapists:

  • In line with Government guidelines, all therapists will be required to wear face masks for all treatments.

What we ask from clients when making a booking?

If you feel unwell.

Please avoid placing a booking if you’re unwell. You will protect not only your therapist but their future clients and their households as well. Our therapists reserve the right to refuse to perform the massage if they believe you exhibit any flu-like symptoms.

COVID-19 related screening questions to be asked ahead of their appointment over a massage and directly with a client.

  • Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough?
  • Do you have a high temperature?
  •  Have you noticed a change in the sense of taste or smell?

However mild, if the client has any of these symptoms, they should stay at home and reschedule their appointment.

  • Ensure other household members are not in the same room during your treatment. Clean and disinfect the treatment area.
